bVildR
Secure, on-premise 3D visualisation, VR design review, and assembly training
bVildR is a secure, on-premise platform for 3D visualisation and VR design review, in use across defense, manufacturing, and oil and gas. It runs entirely offline, with no cloud dependency. ProcedureBuilder, included as a separate module, adds no-code training animation authoring to the same 3D assets.
System Requirements: Windows 10 or later, 8GB RAM or higher
Trusted by Industry Leaders
Deployed by defense contractors, manufacturers, and energy operators across the UK and internationally.

ProcedureBuilder
Build training animations and step-throughs from your 3D models, without writing code.
ProcedureBuilder adds a no-code authoring layer to bVildR. Your team can build step-by-step training animations and assembly procedures directly from the 3D models already in the build, using a drag and drop interface. No Unity studio, no external tools, no development cycle.
The procedure layer is distributed separately from the 3D build, the same way an MTL file travels alongside an OBJ. The same asset can ship to a design reviewer with no training data attached, and to a training team with the full procedure layer. If the design changes, you update the model. If the training changes, you update the procedure. Neither side breaks the other.
Drag and drop authoring, no coding required
Build training animations and assembly step-throughs from existing 3D models
Update procedures in minutes when equipment or processes change
The same build ships with or without the procedure layer, as needed
Works on Windows, supports VR headsets and on-screen viewing

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about bVildR's features, security, and capabilities
What is secure 3D visualisation software?
Secure 3D visualisation software allows you to view and interact with 3D models without cloud dependency. bVildR operates entirely on-premise with zero external data transmission, making it ideal for classified environments and sensitive data in defense, aerospace, and manufacturing sectors.
Can bVildR work in air-gapped or classified environments?
Yes. bVildR is designed for air-gapped deployment with no cloud connectivity requirements. All processing happens locally on your device, making it suitable for classified environments and secure facilities where internet access is restricted.
What CAD file formats does bVildR support?
bVildR supports major 3D formats including STEP, FBX, OBJ, GLTF2, STL, PLY mesh, and PLY point clouds. This enables seamless import of CAD models, 3D meshes, and point cloud data for comprehensive visualization and VR design review.
How do I review CAD models in VR with bVildR?
bVildR includes built-in VR walkthrough capabilities. Simply import your CAD model, connect your VR headset, and enter VR mode. You can review designs at 1:1 scale with natural navigation, collision detection, and waypoint tools for precise movement through your models.
What are the system requirements for bVildR?
bVildR requires Windows 10 or later and a minimum of 8GB RAM. For optimal performance with large assemblies and VR features, we recommend 16GB+ RAM and a dedicated graphics card.
Can I share 3D projects with clients securely?
Yes. bVildR allows you to export password-protected project files that can be shared with clients and collaborators. Recipients can view projects using the bVildR viewer without compromising data security.
How does ProcedureBuilder differ from integrated VR training platforms?
Most VR training platforms treat the training as the primary artefact: the 3D model is a component within the training system. ProcedureBuilder works the other way around. The 3D build is the asset. The procedure layer is distributed alongside it, separately, similar to how an OBJ file carries an MTL. This means the same build ships to a design reviewer with no training data attached, and to a training team with the full procedure layer. Design changes and training changes are independent of each other.
Is bVildR better than cloud-based 3D viewers?
For security-conscious organizations, yes. Unlike cloud-based viewers, bVildR processes everything locally with no data leaving your device. This eliminates security risks, ensures compliance with data regulations, and works in offline or restricted network environments where cloud solutions cannot.
Does bVildR support point cloud visualization?
Yes. bVildR can visualize point clouds from 3D scanners and LiDAR data. You can overlay point clouds with CAD models for as-built vs. design comparisons, making it valuable for construction, reverse engineering, and quality control workflows.
